For three weeks we held open nominations – allowing members the opportunity to nominate other members they felt could best guide and direct the Friends of Royaneh into our first full operational year. Those nominated have affirmed their nomination and are listed below.
The Friends of Royaneh is a volunteer run association comprised of several individuals who form the Board of Directors. Under their leadership and guidance, the Board fulfills the Vision, Mission, and Purpose of F.O.R. – connecting people, supporting camp, and helping camp thrive for generations to come. These elected Board members each hold one vote and serve as the governing body for Friends of Royaneh.
For our inaugural year we will be electing five (5) members to the Board. Therefore paying members over the age of 16 may vote for up to 5 members. You may abstain or cast a vote for 1 up to 5 members from the list below. Those receiving the most votes will be selected to serve the Board. You may only vote once, review the candidate info below before going to the voting form.
Voting will take place virtually until July 16th. For those needing to vote in person, there will be a small window of time (12noon until 2PM) open during the in camp celebration on July 18th at Camp Royaneh. We highly encourage all members to vote virtually to expedite the process.
When you cast a vote for someone, it’s for them to serve on the Board, not for a specific seat or position on the Board. The five (5) Board seats that will be filled in the inaugural year are:
Board President, Vice President of Program**, Membership Chairperson, Treasurer, and Secretary**
After the election results have been made, the newly elected Board members will determine amongst themselves who holds which position.
Below you will find the list of nominees (alphabetically by first name). Within the ballot form itself, you will find information on each candidate.
Only those presented below are eligible for a vote.
