Following the Royaneh 100th anniversary celebrations, the gala and in the camp celebration, a small group have been working behind the scenes to set the ground work for the Friends of Royaneh. The Launch Committee will pass the torch to our first ever Board of Directors, which will be announced at the member celebration on July 18th at Camp Royaneh!
Thank you Maggie, Chip, Dom, Jim, Joe, Jonas, John, Robbie, and Scott! Your time and effort have lead to an amazing start to the Friends of Royaneh!
We are currently in the process of nominating our first officers for our Board of Directors. After the nomination process, elections will take place. Our members* will be able to cast a vote for who they feel will best serve on the Board.
*Baden Powell members, and those under the age of 16, are not eligible to vote.
Your Board of Directors will be…
The President is the primary leader of the Friends of Royaneh and helps guide the rest of the Board members. Their primary goal is to ensure F.O.R. lives up to it’s Vision, Mission, and Purpose. They work closely with Camp and Council leadership to ensure the growth of our program, camps, and the greater scouting communities.
The VP fills in for the President when necessary but also oversees events and programs for our members.
They keep the membership records organized, oversee the distribution of member recognition items, and host member recruitment events.
They work closely with the Council to ensure the Friends of Royaneh funds are in order. The treasurer also works closely with other members for distribution of funds to Camp improvements.
This individual serves as the primary record keeper and when necesssary oversees all F.O.R. communications.
