Background

The Friends of Royaneh is a volunteer run association comprised of several individuals who form the Board of Directors. Under their leadership and guidance, the Board fulfills the Vision, Mission, and Purpose of F.O.R. – connecting people, supporting camp, and helping camp thrive for generations to come. These elected Board members each hold one vote and serve as the governing body for Friends of Royaneh.

*Candidates are nominated to serve the Board, not a specific Board seat.

Board of Directors Positions

Per The Friends of Royaneh bylaws “in any given year, the Board of Directors shall consist of at least five (5) members… Each shall be an active, dues-paid member of the Association for their entire term. The Directors serve as the governing body of The Friends of Royaneh and oversee all membership, events, and financial obligations as well as any additional Camp contributions. “

The five (5) Board seats that will be filled in the inaugural year are:

Board President, Vice President of Program**, Membership Chairperson, Treasurer, and Secretary**

Board members serve a two year term with the exception being the inaugural year. Two** of the five Board members will only serve a one year term. In 2027, those selected to fill those two positions will then serve a two year term.
