Join the Friends of Royaneh for a guided hike through the Oak Trees of this regional park.
When? Saturday October 24, 2026. Expect a midmorning start close to 10AM. More details will be emailed to those that RSVP
Where? Edgewood Park & Natural Preserve in Redwood City. We will be meeting at the Clarkia Trailhead off of Cañada Road.
Why here? Edgewood is an easy location for our members coming from San Francisco, the Peninsula, and the East Bay. It’s located right off of highway 280. PLUS we have a former Royaneh staffer who is a docent there and will share their knowledge of the area, trails, and especially the various Oak trees.
How much? No cost! And we’ll provide some pre-hike drinks and snacks!
Parking? Parking is at an angle on the side of Cañada road that is closer to the freeway. There will likely already be a few cars parked, and it is free! Carpooling is always encouraged.
Anything else? Members and friends are welcomed to join! Just RSVP!
And we’ll have some of our member merchandise available to purchase (magnets, pins, and stickers for now).
For members who haven’t received your recognition items, those will also be available for pickup.
**Those that RSVP will receive details on exact meeting location as well as time**

Many of us were scouts but for some that could have been awhile ago. So here’s a little reminder of what’s needed for a day hike
